Volunteers are one of our most valuable resources.  We value the diverse skills that our volunteers bring to the shelter. Volunteers transport animals to the shelter, prepare diets, disinfect animal housing, make repairs, wash dishes, help educate, and perform many other tasks.  We continually grow our team and train people to help rescue animals in need.

OWLS accepts junior volunteers and encourages teens to connect with wildlife and learn social and technical skills working along side trained rehabilitation technicians and other volunteers from our community. Orientation is required to volunteer at OWLS to keep both our volunteers and those in our care safe.

To sign up to volunteer please email us: owlssaves@gmail.com

Your Help Is Needed

We are dedicated to providing educational outreach programs that inspire and inform the community about wildlife conservation. Our team also focuses on rehabilitating small mammals, birds, and reptiles, ensuring they receive the care they need to thrive. Join in our mission, by volunteering and/or donating to help protect and save the incredible creatures that share our world.
